Australia’s economy is booming, and West Australia currently has the highest growth in the world. If you have a skill that is in short supply or your occupation is in high demand you should consider migrating Down Under.

Points collection is important, and you can do so for employment in your nominated occupation gained over the past 10 years in either Australia or overseas. You can also claim points for a competent English level in International English Language Testing. You must also be under 45 years of age, have good health and meet the character requirements for Australian Visas.

Migration Travel

The Australian and New Zealand travel bubble started today as the first international hard border reopening for Australia!

New Zealand had its last locally acquired case of Covid-19 on the 4th of February 2021 but, like Australia, has been Covid-free for most of the pandemic.

Other “travel bubbles” such as the one with New Zealand are being discussed with other countries, such as Singapore.

Singapore’s Transport Minister, Ong Ye Kung said, “We are exploring with several countries and regions, including Australia, on the mutual recognition of vaccination certificates,” regarding the possibility of quarantine-free travel.

Temporary Visa Holders – A Key Priority

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said recently – “Temporary visa holders are key to regional services and growthwhen he spoke about bringing the economy out of recession and how filling critical workforce shortages with temporary visa holders can actually create jobs elsewhere in the economy and, in particular, sustain growth and services in our regional economies.

The Prime Minister indicated the government would keep an open mind about reviewing visa classes for temporary worker reliant industries such as agriculture and hospitality, “When Australians won’t do the jobs, the jobs still need to be done,” Mr Morrison said.

Mr Morrison said visas with a regional condition are a better option for improving migration over the next few year and remember that all of Australia is regarded as ‘Regional’ except Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

With a predicated growth rate of 4.5% this year Australia will experience a critical skill shortage with certain skilled occupations in huge demand. So potential migrants should get their eligibility assessed now.
