The Australian unemployment rate fell to the lowest level in almost 50 years with job vacancies also at an all-time high.

Australia’s unemployment rate at only 3.9% is the lowest in 50 years. The last time the unemployment rate was lower than this was in August 1974. Western Australia’s unemployment rate is at only 2.9%, which is the lowest in the country.
